Hoping I could at least get to the passenger side on Thursday when my torque bit comes from Amazon. I will post some pics when I'm done, though they will likely look more messy than what other people have done. Planning on just sawing the holes and patching with gorilla tape.

I ordered 11/22/22 and my order number was 222X.

that's a good option and probably the one i will use once i get mine.

Got my boards delivered today. Where should the tp55 bit be? The hardware bag only has the nuts and bolts for the board and plate.

What are the 3 tabs sticking up inboard of the top plate?

Is this confirmation the slider top plate is attached with screws and not welded?

Correct, bolted on top plate, and the aero plates are bolted on as well.

The 3 tabs are added as extra strengthening to further counter rotating the slider under super extreme loads. Those tabs sit against the frame rail. This design distributes load on the frame rail, instead of just relying on the camping force of the bolts. Exclusive to Team 1EV, no one else does this.

while it appears that they probably have quite a few orders, I do believe that the order /Invoice number reflects all orders that the company gets in. They have probably filled a lot of those orders.

At the end of the video for drilling the 4" holes, there is an image with an overview of where all the holes are placed. Could you add that to the running boards cutting template? I successfully drilled the front passenger and center passenger holes so far, but I think seeing an overall view of where each hole is going would be helpful when first starting out.

It seems like there have been quite a few customers who didn't get the TP55 an T20 bits included. Has a root cause of the omissions been found and remediated? Or should we just order a backup to be safe and prevent installation delays?

You can probably wait to receive your order before doing anything, won't slow you down much if it's not there. An order for the bit from Amazon usually takes a day or two to receive, enough time to install the top plates and drill the holes.

Or, you can just swing by the nearest NAPA and pick a TP55 bit up for around $14.00. We already had a T20, but stopped in to pick up the TP55 on the same day we started the installation.
