I'm probably too nice, and grew up in an area where you knew most of the community including police. If I was presented with the same situation, especially given the back history, I would have put the guy in the back of the car, taken him home and maybe let the wife or whomever know where the vehicle was, and that they could retrieve it when sober.

Guy in the rivian is clearly a dick, but doesn't mean you cant find a way to bridge things and achieve a better result for all involved.

I don’t buy into the “R1 community”. Me buying this truck doesn’t confer commonality with anyone else here outside of sharing a love for this vehicle. I do like/respect many of you here but I just don’t care for the idea of community for simply buying a vehicle.

I don’t know this guy from Adam, I’m not responsible for him getting loaded and driving around and his behavior isn’t reflective of me or anyone else here.
