?????I find it annoying also, and would love to be able to turn it off.
But it did help me to figure out why the adaptive cruise slows me down when I try to pass a semi. It sees the truck and 2-3 additional phantom cars that jump around right in front of me and screw up the curise control. Maybe I need an eye exam, and it is trying to tell me that, because the eyes in the front of my head do not see those cars.?
??????Would like better grab handles too..A-Pillar Grab Handles.
When I park my truck in spots like this to take a cool shot, it would make it a hell of a lot easier to get back in!

The one that thing I miss when I had the Chevy Bolt EUV was the super cruise. (Hands free)but I always kept my eyeballs on the road never less..?Your kidding right? Waymo has driverless iPace cars in Phoenix, as does Cruise. I have personally seen them driving around. Soem have drivers and some do not.
How about this, driverless assist?

Put the wipers into service mode first?I've read this whole thread, including my first post, and I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the annoyance of not being able to flip the wiper blades so they stay up for wind screen cleaning.
I know I can do that, but should I really have to just to wash the windshield completely?Put the wipers into service mode first?![]()
YesI know I can do that, but should I really have to just to wash the windshield completely?
Genuinely curious about your concern. If you don't lift the wipers off of the windshield, how could you possibly wash it completely?I know I can do that, but should I really have to just to wash the windshield completely?
I think the annoyance is having to use service mode for the wipers. On my GM cars I could just wrench the wiper rotation into the place I wanted but the Rivian doesn't move as easily by hand (which is to say, not at all).Genuinely curious about your concern. That's it in a nut shell. It's just an annoying extra step.I think the annoyance is having to use service mode for the wipers. On my GM cars I could just wrench the wiper rotation into the place I wanted but the Rivian doesn't move as easily by hand (which is to say, not at all).
Nope, works great for my sunglasses. My phone goes in the center console.A redesigned front seats storage compartments. Today, I tried to put my Samsung S21 Ultra 5G with a slim case into the front seat storage compartment; it seems like a great place to hide this phone. It's more than roomy enough to hold my phone (see pic); until you close it...Then the phone gets wedged against the inside top portion and refuses to let the door open fully but just a small crack. I ended up having to insert a thin, long screw driver through that small crack and teases my phone forward in order to release the door. Rivian, please fix this compartment design. It is very deceivingly generous in size. It even allows me to close the door without any problem. But, once closed, my particular phone gets wedged.
Anyone else had stuff getting stuck in those seat compartments?
