Damn.. Super dissapointing.. I really don't like the linex solution either and need a cargo cover ASAP.
Ditto. Until a manufacturer can commit to a 2 piece contoured solution to cover both the area behind the 3rd row cargo as well as behind the 2nd row when the 3rd row is down (my config 95% of the time), I’ll have to wait. Hate to buy a mat for behind the 3rd row and then have to switch suppliers for behind the 2nd row…

the funny thing is that this should be relatively easy, although I understand market demand may be dicey to commit to both pieces.

The wait continues…

Wait.. how does it handle the different heights of the floor when the third row is down? it looks like it just goes straight over it without any contouring?

Man, considering the high quality of weathertech stuff, I'm shocked to say the least.
It doesnt, thats the problem. I tried to show in second pic but the indentation in the mat is about 6 inches off from the drop off of the seats. I asked for a refund and Weathertech sent me a prepaid shipping label. Guess I’ll wait for the linerx seatback mat to become available

Ok I finally got mine delivered and figured out last night. That 'indentation' doesnt line up with the drop from the 3rd row to the cargo area, it aligns with those 'flaps' that extend to the 3rd row seats when they're laying down. So if you're trying to get that to line up with where the 'false floor' raises up to, the mat is too far back.

Not saying the rest of it is perfect.. the section by the lift gate looks kinda wierd, but then I like the flaps being there to retain any runaway liquids.

Do you have pics of them installed? It's hard to tell from your website.

I have the third row folded 99% of the time, so need a cover for them plus the main cargo area.
Sure, we will have pictures soon! Through our website and @kanundrum, we'll be testing the fitment of the mats in his car and will share the images thereafter. Should give you a better idea of how they'll look.

Two quick questions.

1) ETA for the seat back covers (2nd and 3rd row set)
2) Willing to pre-sale as Amazon Prime Day deal?

Thanks!

I couldn’t get mine to line up with anything no matter how I moved my mat. Can you take a picture to show how yours lines up? Thanks

Ok here's my very rough attempt.

In a nutshell, the 'ridge' in the liner I kept trying to make line up with the red line in the cargo area, that made sense to my brain, thats not the right way.. that ridge lines up with the green line in car.

So the install looks like:
1) Raise the 'false floor' that covers the spare area
2) put the angled corners at the top (they match the seat backs)
3) line up that ridge like I did.

You know it's 'correct' when the bottom is relatively flush with the cargo area. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, the weather isn't cooperating so they're In a poorly lit garage.

Thanks for posting photos. I’m curious about the side-to-side area where the ramp is. Does the mat cover to just the edges of the ramp or does to flop over the edge and over the tie downs?

Just to the edges of the ramp, which is both the best and worst thing about the design :) It looks kinda 'sloppy' in my opinion, but also if you need to use the tie downs you certainly can.

I can see some usefullness in the one-piece design but it could be way better. Maybe I’ll keep it when it arrives but only use it when needed. I can’t see keeping in the S all the time.

Yeah fully understand that.

We have yet to use our back row for 'people', it's usually full of coolers or surfboards or other outside stuff. So to have the extra protection for wet stuff I think we're going to keep it.

But if you use the 3rd row, my guess its it would not be a very useful solution.
