I use cameras to get into position in my garage!
I wish cameras would launch as soon as I am pulling into a parking space/garage.

Agreed. Not very impressive. Last few updates have been light on new features.
I think it's fine for an occasional bug fix focused release. Good to clean them up as opposed to only pushing out new features. I'm pretty happy to have the app launcher as this was near the top of my list.

For sure, bug fixes are great. Keep them coming! It would also be good to prioritize feature parity on things many would like to see: Text, calendar, waze, satellite radio, weather, proximity features, coast mode, smog mode, max AC, 3P apps, interior lighting controls, customized lock sounds, phone as a hotspot, offline mode, etc.

Some people are never satisfied  Update frequency is great though

Unless the battery is preconditioning, Climate Control now turns on when the door is opened instead of when the vehicle is unlocked

THANK YOU!!
Seriously. I turn off my HVAC now because the truck constantly wakes up due to proximity of my parking situation and my home/office. Hopefully this fix means I can just leave it on/in-auto and not worry about it making the vampire stronger.

Can we take a minute and appreciate how often these updates are rolling out? From a start up company. It’s very impressive.
Well said, for a bunch of people that paid a bunch of money as early adopters and most of us profess our love for the vehicles - we sure whine a lot. To me it looks like Rivian is working pretty hard at evolving and making things better.

This one feels like a minor one, but I sure can appreciate the cadence and completeness of the release notes.
Agreed, nice fixes and I am loving the cadence of updates but nothing earth shattering to me.

Agree on the frequency of updates that address even minor issues (as long as they don't cause major issues), AND please move the Odometer to the Driver's display!

Thought for sure there would be a AC weedwacker bug fix.
My AC compressor doesn’t make the noise others do. My mobile tech said there are dampeners that can be installed in certain parts around the compressor to alleviate the noise, or it just needs to be oiled.

<satire>We’re only here to complain</satire>

A+ for effort and frequency of OTA updates.

I am not seeing this update available yet in my r1t truck. Just wondering if I should, are others getting the update, or if this is some kind of pre-release notice and thread and the update will be rolling out in the future.

I would really love to be able to have more than one "home" location, where I can disable proximity locking. Lets face it, some of us spend a lot of time at fixed location away from home, be it work (office or jobsite), second home, etc.

How hard would it be to be able to add additional locations?

Of course. Not complaining; just stating the facts. The few releases were largely bug fixes, with little new in the way of requested/promised upcoming “features”.

It’s too early. I’m guessing one to two weeks for us. The updates happen at different time over the span of a couple of weeks and the order in which this happen seems randomized (for testing reasons) so you can never know exactly when your time comes. The truck and the app will let you know when it’s downloaded and ready.
