Rivian app 2.0 is live!

While this is an improvement from what it was, why is there still so much wasted space and why is everything still so big? It forces you to have to scroll and tap to see information. Why can’t it display information about your car in a clear and concise way.

it’s so big, it doesn’t at all match the fonts and sizes of the rest of the OS.

It appears that they removed the ability to contact your guide. At least if you have a delivered vehicle. Just automatically goes to CS I guess.
Web interface still lets me, although it doesn’t seem to reflect the memo that I supposedly have a guide team now. Not sure it matters though.

One thing i noticed is that if there is any object that is blocking your liftgate to open, it does not allow you to remotely open it. I think thats new. My car is parked in the garage and there is no way i can open my lift gate with my garage door closed.

Most underrated is the odometer on the home screen of the app. Thanks for that! Is it too much if I ask to show it on the driver display too?

That's awesome, I'll have to test it out. We've disabled our liftgate for fear of accidentally hitting the garage door.

My liftgate is also blocked by the garage door but the feature is not locked out in my app. I think it's just a bug in the app

I switched all my devices to the metric system because on a bicycle your speed and distance numbers are automatically 60% higher and your ascent is only 30%! I feel so much faster. I can’t understand why my fellow club members won’t change their devices.

I appreciate it may be using the proximity sensors on the rear to keep your from dropping it on something.

Mine however currently says open, but it's not visibly open. I will go drop it in the morning and close it to see if it was just a confused sensor.

UPDATE: After charging and a sleep cycle, the app tailgate status was fine, the tailgate down cleared.

The app is displaying only "all-purpose" but the truck is in "sport". I've tried changing the truck to "conserve" and shifting between park, drive, and reverse but the app always displays "all-purpose". Anyone else seeing this behavior?
