Good point, and duly noted, but for my use case...and I suspect many others like me, I don't intend to do frequent extreme/hardcore off-roading that makes me more susceptible to dragging/banging my tail on a regular basis. For me, if I bang or drag it a few times while on trails, and the setup holds up...which I feel confident it will, then that's a huge win for me. But there is definitely a case for others to pony-up the $$$ and pay for those other dedicated options if they're planning on doing more extreme adventures on a regular basis. Still...not a bad idea to maybe take a jack to the setup and do a mild test of upward pressure to see how it holds up ?. Good idea ?Probably worth seeing what happens if you put some upward load on it too, like what will happen if you drag it off-road.
