My Hummer SUT is due to arrive between Oct and Dec. I have not driven one, but did get a ride in one at Barrett Jackson earlier in the year. I have been inside the SUT and SUV. No markup by my dealer either.

Seems more poser than grocery getter. I wonder if the loss of space in the frunk is for suspension travel. But look, it has an integrated full size spare!

I test drove their SUT last week when I had a loaner R1T.

Did that SUV have Extract Mode? I think in production it is only supposed to come with the off road package, but this pre-production one at Barrett Jackson had the mode but not the full off road package.

You can see how much room the suspension takes up.

I am not sure indict had it or not.

The 4 wheel steering was nice in the SUT, but on the shorter wheel base SUV, it is INCREDIBLE.

I took a test drive with a brand new ‘23 Hummer EV truck last weekend. It was an absolute blast to drive.

The dealer was asking $100K markup, though. I like it, but not that much.

I am getting mine for the off-roading, especially with the removable tops. In reality it is not any bigger than a Raptor and definitely not as long as a TRX. It is far smaller than a Sierra HD 2500, I have seen them side by side at my GMC dealership. The fender flares make it look a lot bigger than it actually is.

I think these Hummers are awesome. Appreciate they are not everyone's gravy though.

I took my Rivian out earlier this month and ended up on a section that has tree branches scraping down both sides, and I said "boy am I glad I didn't bring the Hummer here"

Guessing your trails might not be quite as tight in your neck of the woods?

Why does the truck have much more estimated range than the SUV? Surely same battery pack or larger due to longer wheel base?

We call that Arizona pinstriping, and yes I have gotten some of that on the Rivian already. I actually worry more about the rocks down low with the Rivian, too much plastic there and not enough steel. Even underneath the front and rear it has all those plastic panels just waiting to get busted, as some on this forum have already found out.

Edition 1 trucks have a 24 module battery, the SUV only has room for 20 modules. It was going to be Rivian's problem too, but it sounds like they might not end up using the extra space under the truck.

I pre-ordered the Hummer SUT first (long before Rivian) and STILL don’t have any updates from GMC on my order. Just “sometime in 2024”.

The rear-wheel-steer is the biggest hook to me. I’ll be sticking with my R1T.
