Does the AC feel a bit weaker with 2023.30?

They wont even acknowledge it even though it seems like 50% of owners are experiencing issues with the AC, cooled seats, or both. The only comms I’ve seen is they havent made any changes there and everything is working as intended, which obviously isnt true

If they play their cards right, they’ll have 1.5 months of quiet time until we start complaining about the heat.

I never expected that I may actually back out of my R1S order after taking the test drive. The two main reasons for this were:
1. The suspension was too jarring and kept “crashing” on less than perfect streets. The vehicle also seems to do a weird yo-yo (front to back) when it came to a stop at any traffic signal.
2. the AC failed to keep the cabin cool in the AZ heat - especially in the 2nd row(didn’t try the 3rd).
If they fix these two issues then I’ll call back my Rivian guide and tell him that I’m ready for the order.

Mine seems to be okay. Is this mostly a problem with R1S? Seems like most with issues have an R1S.

My AC is working better now. I figured out that it’s the recirculation setting was turned off and that was keeping the car from getting the car cold in high heat.

A few R1S people had issues because the ac coolant fluid was filled to the incorrect level, meant for the R1T. Once this was corrected, their ACs worked fine

My AC issue was the recirculation setting was turned off. Once on, it’s all good now
