Unfortunately the tire life on the 21" option is so poor for the price. Almost forces you to switch to a different wheel size.

I agrée. It is really disappointing to know Rivian locks us into one and only one supplier for R21 tires. I think Some kind of deal was made between Pirelli and Rivian and now Pirelli has a captive market.

I have almost 22k on my 21" and am looking at aftermarket 20" rims now due to the lack of tire selection. I was really hoping that Michelin would come through with something by now but no dice.

I don't hate the Pirelli's per se but don't love the look of them. I'd prefer something more aggressive (those mall curbs aren't going to get in my way!). In my ideal world, I'd find a A/T tire to fit the 21" rims at the same 34" circumference as the 20s.

Wish I had gotten the 21”s. I drove the R1S with 21”s for a week and loved the ride. So much better than the 20”s. Not to mention the range and it’s a free option.

Agreed. Got a loaner 20"AT and it feels bouncy af compared to my 21". Maybe bcz it is AT tires

Just got my Rivian center caps and took off the aero covers off.

Though the more I look at this rim design, the more I think the dark gray areas need to be changed and keep the painted silver portions. Anyone done such a modification?

Yikes. That "Best" stereo was $772.95 in 1975. That's nearly $4,500 today.

^ even back then, the only time to by stuff from RS was when it was on sale.

I worked for them in the mid 1990's.. the simple dipole FM antenna (you know the one made out of cleat twin lead antenna wire) shaped like a large "T" you taped to a wall.. sold for $3.99, we paid $0.62 for it from the warehouse. RS had huge markups on a lot of their products. Even when the Mach 1 speakers went on sale for 1/2 price.. we still made god $$$ on them.
