I agree with CTHELAN. Discount Tire is great. Ask for Tristan. He's the in-house Rivian expert. I had them swap my 22's for 20" AT's last Thursday in preparation for some off-roading and winter. They have jack pucks, know to put the R1 in All-Terrain Highest Ride Height & Tire Change Mode, and know how to drive the vehicle in/out of the bay. I don't believe they have non-marring sockets, but I had them use mine.I’m looking for a good tire shop for rotations and future tire purchases in Bend, OR
Thanks in advance
Talk to Tristan about wheel and tire options. He’s got some things cooking with a few manufacturers that haven’t been announced yet. Tell him Roger Davis sent you. ?Perfect! This is exactly what I am looking for. Also on the hunt for some 20 ATs myself.
Thanks
I had my 21" road tires rotated at Discount after 7500miles which was a no charge service so no complaints there.I agree with CTHELAN. Discount Tire is great. Ask for Tristan. Discount Tire is completely qualified to swap wheels/Tires. The only advantage to having it done at the SC is getting the firmware updated while you’re there. Mobile Service came to my house and did the update after DT mounted my wheels.I had my 21" road tires rotated at Discount after 7500miles which was a no charge service so no complaints there.
I do have a question for "mozartite": I went ahead and purchased 20" A/T from Rivian for winter driving but had to have those installed in Tualatin. Just to make sure I understand you, do you think Discount is qualified to re-install the 21" next spring? Do they readjust the settings in the vehicle or would I need to do it?
Wow! That's a nice service. I haven't needed to deal with mobile service yet (knock on wood) but it is good to know. I am still thinking we need a brick & mortar service center in our area as after driving around to Eugene, PDX and the coast, it seems like there are far more Rivians in Central Oregon than anywhere else in the state - definitely more per capita. Would be interesting to see the actual numbers.Discount Tire is completely qualified to swap wheels/Tires.
