Profits. What else. They need to make a living and ensure their businesses are sustainable. Just as much as you do. And, considering how expensive the R1s are, pretty silly to complain about $600 and $1000 tonneau covers.I don't get why these are so expensive... These things are as expensive as cell phones!
What does it look like rolled up, and how far does it stick back into the bed?![]()
Inexpensive, easy to use, and looks good... I have no complaints....
It's just a tight little roll on the lip, and leaves the bed completely free. What does it look like rolled up, and how far does it stick back into the bed?
Anyone have experience with the Weathertech hard cover? Seems like Lomax? Just picked up R1T last week and debating waiting for OEM (!), Tail Lidz or a Lomax/Weathertech solution.
I don't understand everyone's obsession with being able to stand on a tonneau cover.they say the hard cover is watertight and supports up to 400lbs. thats better than the manual tonneau offered by Rivian for $1800. 3rd party figured that out and Rivian couldn't even though they have the advantage of using the built in rails ?‍![]()
Well how else am I going to surf on the back while drag racing?I don't understand everyone's obsession with being able to stand on a tonneau cover.
I would assume they are using that as a proxy for being able to put things on top of the cover while loading/unloadingI don't understand everyone's obsession with being able to stand on a tonneau cover.
