Did the .20 large pack range update get rolled back?

When we took delivery of our R1S with 20at in July on the energy screen it quoted 289 miles at 100%. Fast forward to today with 3.5k miles on odo, it quotes 273 (after resetting the calculations and the car as well it doesn't change - reset actually dropped it from 274 to 273). The current configurator on the live site quotes 274 epa with 20 wheels - did the range update get rolled back?

What is your lifetime efficiency on the trip meter? My truck still shows 288 miles in AP mode and my lifetime average on 20s is 2.24 mi/kWh over 9000 miles.

So if we take efficiencies divided by the rated ranges that shows 128 KWH and 130 KWH respectively. I wonder if it is not actually resetting back to a standard mi/kwh but resetting it back to the all-time averages?

The car was at 100 soc when I picked it up and the most I've charged it to is 95 since ( and that was only one time ) otherwise it's always been at max 70, so maybe that's a factor as well

Then your 273 or so listed miles is likely accurate for the way you drive. When I calculated things recently it looks like we now have ~128.5 kWh usable, which for me at 2.24 mi/kWh should be 288 miles which is what my truck shows.

In my experience that is not how the Rivian's software works. I have been averaging 1.63 mi/kWh for the last 10k miles or so and my truck still thinks my 100% range is 315 miles (thinks I have 21s)

Additionally if the 273 number OP is seeing was a reflection of his driving history then a reset of that history should bring it back to what most are seeing on 20s which is in the mid/high 280s.

I do before long road trips, semi-regularly

FWIW Rivian service just re-flashed my truck back to the 20" wheels per my request. I am showing 200 miles of range at 69%SOC

I will also add that I am sure whatever that top range is on the GOM it will not effect your actual range but I understand your annoyance.

Not annoyance per-se just more variability than i am used to seeing in an EV, but it looks like out of three trucks we have 2 that are reporting normal and mine that's showing differently. Will update once i do a range charge and burn it down.

There's definitely something with the calibration. I checked the range at the moment it reported 84% and then looked at 84% on the guessometer and the numbers don't line up.

Yup

That seems pretty typical for the 20" ATs. Like I said above my average is much lower (~1.6 mi/kWh) but mine still shows 284 miles of range in AP.
