Hi All,

I am set to take delivery of my R1T and wanted to know if there is a check list of things to be aware. Also how has everyone else delivery experince been in terms of the time it took. Was it in and out, or a long process?

It's not a Tesla you don't need a checklist.

I only had one item, but forgot to ask in the heat of the moment. Colorado is a two-plate state. I had requested no front plate mounted but wanted to request the Rivian front plate holder which would mount to my aftermarket, no-drill mount.
Turns out, I didn't need to worry. When I got home, I found the plate holder and hardware in the frunk. Kudos to the Denver SC.

I just picked up a R1T and used this ... I found it someplace months ago, forget where. I couldn't figure out how to attach a PDF to this post. DM me or whatever and I will get it to you.

One thing to add... My wife found a defect, the windows going up and down made a slight clunking noise. It definitely pays to go over the vehicle completely.

You may not need a checklist but Rivian is not that much better than Tesla in terms of build quality. All manufacturers have their issues.

Congrats! When the SC contacts you, ask them, nicely, to go over the car for panel gaps and paint work. When you pick it up take a friend to help you look over the car a few minutes. Ask the SC how much time you have to report back on any issues. If they're nice they will tell you to take a few days and put in a ticket in for any issues you find. The best way to find any issues is to drive it and spend time at home with it. Enjoy in good health. Cheers!
