I am slightly annoyed that one short feature in an off-road park in CA has now become the defacto standard for off road chops

I'm also annoyed that it's different drivers doing the tests. From watching the cybertruck video, it's not at all clear to me if the vehicle was struggling or if the driver was struggling.

Yeah agree haha. This course is going to get destroyed by everyone trying it.

There’s a nearby obstacle called the Frame Twister. Much more of a test I think. Maybe that’ll be next haha

Are those street tires? ? Pretty sure this did better than the cybertruck.

Vehicle struggled. You can see the rear wheels turning and getting the truck stuck to lose momentum

Me too, way too far from home to attempt it in all of my EVs. I'm pretty sure my Polestar could make it up this.

Post launch, all we'll see will be off-road videos
I'm hopeful the guy that "was just driving his Rivian slowly through a field" is going to be an early CT buyer so we can get a legitimate comparison.

Yes, but was that wheel spinning caused by the driver taking the wrong line? Claiming that the driver isn't a big part of the equation isn't fair to skilled off-road drivers. Or bad ones, I'm pretty sure I could manage to get stuck in the world's most competent off-roading vehicle.

I'm not saying it isn't embarrassing either way. I just can't tell from these videos if Tesla employs bad truck drivers or bad truck designers.

I’m going with the Ford, purely because I’m jealous it has a tonneau cover.
