Real world dual-motor and max-pack reviews missing?

Not just me. Plus the Rivian told me what was going into the battery on a 0-95% charge.

143 kWh usable is realistic.

I don't believe I will be able to tow my travel trailer with it for at least 200 miles.

I don't think that would have been possible with a true 180kwh pack, those towing the bigger/wider/heavier trailers are getting 1-1.1mi/kwh.

I talked with someone on the team that said that they could not put extra battery under the rear bench since there was some safety blocker for that idea. Take that with a grain a salt.

The Tundra hybrid also has the battery under the passenger seat so I don't think that is the issue.

The Tundra uses a NiMH battery which is at much lower risk of catastrophic fire than a lithium-based battery.

The Wrangler 4xe also has the battery right below the rear bench. You can lift the bench up and quite literally look at it. So it would seem weird that Rivian wouldn't be able to put it there.

Come to think of it, my C-Max Energi had the battery directly behind the rear seat.

Had my dual motor for 3 weeks or so. Haven't been able to drive it much, the return trip I went from 100 percent to 23 on a 237 mile trip, 75 percent freeway where I was going 80mph. I did have ideal conditions with a 12mpg tailwind the whole way and Temps were 72 degrees so didn't need any cabin cooling or heating. I loved the range as I've taken this trip many times before and always had to charge mid way.
Off road I cannot compare it to the quad but the instant torque is incredible, handled deep ruts and wet slimey hillsides no problem. Hope to do some more 4 wheeling in the u.p. soon. Pass poor mpg on screens hot is due to lots of phantom drain.

So did my Gen I Volt.. it ran the full width of the back seat from one side of the vehicle to the other.

To me, this would be the most useful stat to know. I’m rarely going to be charging to full 100% (which also takes forever).

Way more than 38 minutes for 287 miles of range, on 7/29 i charged at the Front Royal, VA RAN arriving at 4% and charged too 93% and Rivian says i added 111 kWh at 252 miles of range in 1 hr 3 min.

Large pack, 20" wheels.

So they are guessing my efficiency at 2.27. Which is worse than i was getting on that trip because i had all seasons on.

I just drove up from Houston, Texas to western NY and i averaged 1.91 the standard A/T's.

The first picture is my trip meter when i arrived at the RAN on 7/29
