You get a free wall charger tooits not a free wall charger, its only $2k in installation credit but still good deal.
FYI, GM/Chevy covered the cost of installing a 240v EVSE when I purchased my Chevy Bolt.Saw this banner today on the website, first time I have seen them do a promotion like this.

Same here. Was almost ready to pull the trigger a year ago but had no access to do so. Now I've waited a year and can wait another to see what competitors come, what the '24 updates are, and if they start cutting prices. May take a bit for R1S to catch up but I think it'll get there. These incentives don’t come for no reason. Maybe Rivian should revert to pre-March-2022 pricing. I think they’ve all but exhausted the pre-March-2022 reservations, and there is a shortage of those who are willing to pay the new price. I have no proof, just a speculation.
I’m certainly on the fence with the new pricing on the CCS-charge-port R1 when the CyberTruck is about to be released. I’m sitting on my hands, not locking my R1S preorder, and I can get an R1S from the Rivian shop delivered to me within a week of locking the order.
Now you just need the $2k check. I’d be asking my guide in the morning. If I were you.Perhaps this explains the wall charger orphaned at The Count's abode? The new business model.
