Had my first tire rotation at Americas Tire in SoCal(partnered with Rivian) and my tread on all the tires was 7 except for LR, which was 6. I have quad motor on 21s and 90% of my driving is All Purpose, standard height. Half the driving has been standard and half on strong regen. Tire pressure are at about 46 warm. I dont drive crazy, but don’t drive like a granny. One in a while the boys ask for a “boost” and I oblige. Overall pretty pleased.

I replaced probably 2-3k early. But I only got 13k on my first set. But I tell people don’t judge me on how I drive.

I've rotated the tires twice at my local Discount Tire, at 8K and at 16K. Still plenty of tread.

I recently put more air in the tires for the colder weather, 48 psi at about 25 degrees. On warmer days the pressure can get as high as 57 psi, but I'd rather be on the high end than the low end, at least as long as I'm driving on pavement.

Good to know Americas tire is partnered with Rivian. I use the one in Mission Viejo. Thanks for the info!

I have a theory that there are a ton of undiagnosed alignment issues out there.
I had an alignment performed almost immediately--noticed the vehicle pulling to the right; even Driver+ had to keep 'adjusting' to keep me centered on a straight, flat road. To drive straight, I'd have to keep the steering wheel maintained about 2 degrees to the left.

Since my alignment, it's been much improved, and I drive in all purpose, mostly highway, in auto-height (which means I spend a lot of highway miles in low). I've recently rotated my tires, they're all around 8/32nds at almost 15k miles. I do not drive gently. And there is NO skew or bias across the treads due to riding in low. I also live in a state and commute into a state who are notorious for absolutely abhorrent roads.

Point being: there's such a wide range of experience with tires, there has to be a smoking gun--what is it?

I have a quad motor R1T with 21" wheels. Service center replaced my 2 front tires at around 16.5k miles. I never had them rotated and the steering wheel used to shake at speeds above 70, so likely has an alignment issue. Shaking is fine now though which is good.

I’ve had my alignment fixed once by service center but it definitely still pulls right that’s why I was a bit surprised at the tread.

On my way to and from work I heard what sounded like something hitting against the body of the truck. Looked underneath and it looked like the techs didn’t replace two of the tabs for the pucks.

Same here - Discount Tire forgot a puck but I catches this before it fall. They did not get used to the car, so you really need to check the bottom after they do any work.
