No more max pack in R1 shop

Sorry about that. In the R1 shop when you click on filter, it does not show R1T or R1S.

I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. The R1 Shop does not show R1T as an available filter anymore, it's greyed out just like the max pack filter. Are we going to start a rumor that they've pulled R1Ts because of some thing?

When you have access to R1 shop you only get access to the vehicle you had reserved. In my case it was an R1T so I don’t get the option to see any R1S in the R1 shop or filter for R1S.

I have been able to see both R1S and R1T since I've had access.

Like all other configs in R1 Shop, they come and go pending batched production planning. Why be like AM radio and make it out to be a conspiracy?

Unless policy has changed, I don't believe that ever to be the case. With access, you'd see all available inventory based on your location and whether you've been given Shop access to R1T, R1S or both. The point of R1 Shop is to entice you to pull the trigger rather than continue to sit in limbo for exact match—i.e. take one off of the "lot" instead of special order—because +1 delivery for the quarter is better than +0.

Production and production planning is done i batches. If all MP inventory are spoken for, you won't see them in the shop again until the next batch of MPs are built or scheduled to be built. This was the case when they built only R1Ts and ran out of certain wheels or interior color.

I only have access to R1T shop. Glad you have access to both. Did you reserve and R1T and R1S?

I suspect they might have pulled everything to add more max pack that may have been recently produced.

I never had R1S Shop access. Never reserved one or told Rivian I'd be interested in one. Some people have/had access to both. I reserved R1T Quad-Max and stuck with it until the numbers stopped making sense; as details on Dual-Max dribbled out. Changed my config to Quad-Large in early summer and was soon matched to a truck; subsequently lost shop access.

Other post say their conversations with Rivian indicate production is prioritizing long-standing Max Pack reservations (i.e. those who were converted from Quad-Max). And like all other batched projections, there will be additional vehicles built (because of available parts) and/or vehicles that folks canceled on. These, are the ones that end up in the R1 Shop.

Separate recent posts and sights at Normal indicate they have a large inventory of R1Ts. This is probably, at least, part of the reason they've just begun to offer leasing.

Just keep checking. I just noticed a FG max pack that wasn't there a few minutes ago.

No Max Packs are available for R1T in my IL shop view. And leasing can't be related, because as shown in the Leasing topic here, only Large Battery models can be leased at this point. It does have me wondering what's up. Though R1T inventory is clearly down. One search I've often done -- DM, LgP, 21" wheels, is now showing four colors with 0 availability. That wasn't true a couple weeks ago.

[The no Max Pack language was in a Rivian lease notice on p. 1 of a thread in a subforum, but based on later posts, that seems not to be true.]
