Calipers not yellow?

Might sound silly to all of you all but in order to get my compass yellow exterior, I agreed to the 22” wheels instead of dark 23” I had on order. Much to my surprise, my calipers aren’t yellow like every other Rivian I’ve seen photos of and in person around town. I really wanted them to match the exterior. Is there a reason why they stopped or aren’t doing it anymore that I just didn’t become aware of? Or any chance they’d take care of this now? My calipers say Rivian on them but they’re silver. I’ve seen red, green, and white all over town with the yellow ones.

Did you get a Dual Motor by any chance? Those come with silver calipers.
Only Quad motor versions come with yellow calipers (and yellow outline for the badges)

Oh man! I didn’t know the dual motor had anything to do with the caliper color! Now I feel silly. I thought maybe the wheels change caused it. I did get the dual motor but I do have the yellow outline on the badges though they’re difficult to notice.

Yeah, it is definitely not a highlighted content on the R1T homepage

The 'RIVIAN' letters on your front doors and the 'R1T" on your tailgate should be without yellow outline. If I recall correctly your frunk hood badge has the outline. Quad motor versions have all the letters outlined as well.

I actually have the R1S but I get your point ? I thought you meant the Rivian logo badging. What subtle differences for something so seemingly unrelated! I need to get the contact info for someone local so we can swap calipers hahaha. The canyon red one and the same parking lot would look way better with my silver haha!

There are aftermarket caliper wraps/ covers if you really want the yellow look.

Thank you! Hubby loves working on cars so he’ll probably do this and get me some side steps (4’11” height over here so even heel mode is high) since he doesn’t have a project car to restore right now.

Play with it in the configurator on the website for further proof. If you put it on quad motor the calipers are yellow in the pictures, dual they turn silver.

If you want yellow highlighted emblems you can also get these in black with yellow emblems. Real easy to put on. Took me about an hour.

If you really want yellow calipers (I would) a company called, “G2 Caliper Paint” is an amazing, durable and easy-to-use paint. Put it on an ‘09 M3..still looks factory.

For the record, the yellow on the quad-motor calipers (and the yellow accent on the lettering) is not Compass Yellow.

The emblems should not have yellow outline on dual motor. The lower left rear emblem should have a black line in between the the R1 and the T/S.
