I find it funny they subtract rollout from the 0-60 times for the top trim and not the others to make it sound more different than it is. I can understand there are reasonable arguments for either method. But the same company using different methods for two versions of the same vehicle is not defendable.

This isn't new - Tesla has always done this and it was always dumb. But what is new is the pointlessness of it. Even if they subtracted rollout from the lower trims, the top trim would still be more than a second faster than the next tier down. So why play games exaggerating the difference when it is still a big difference?

I've not looked at the details yet, but based on those prices I think Rivian will need to come down a bit to stay competitive. The specs and prices are compelling at first glance.

I also like idea of the 61K RWD. While not coming available for a while I imagine a lot of folks that just need a pickup will find it attractive. Rivian should consider doing the same.

Rear diff is the only advantage I can see here over the Rivian. Also what was the pull test? with similar horsepower, and similar tires, the Cybertruck shouldn't have pulled twice the distance? Also that range is so disappointing, you can't hype the towing if you cant even hit 400mi of range

Tesla doesn't exactly have a history of doing good things for its customers like Rivian did.

Cybertruck has more torque, probably due to lower gearing.

Don't fall for that. Elon does this with every vehicle. He promises a lower priced version that he never delivers on. Just this year did the M3 even come close to the low price he promised on that model and it was only because demand was tanking.
