From my experience it seems to appear if the battery is below around 50 degrees.I got the snowflake at 43 degrees. It wasn’t that cold out. Once I got off the road and put it in park then drive again it was gone.

I'm trying to figure the story behind your avatar photo. Was that yours? Is that a situation a Rivian (or any off-road vehicle) can get out of? I'm a road guy, and to my untrained eye, that looks like a helicopter lift rescue.Rivian goes Brrrrrr.
That’s me! And it’s a bit of a cheater-picture. Took that at the Hollister OHV. The truck can ford up to 3’+ of water.
