Hello all,

I know I have seen the Tux Mats mentioned several times on the forums. I was looking to upgrade from the Rivian all weather mats to something a little better. I reached out to the company and they are looking for a 2022/2023 R1T in the Toronto area to scan so they can put them in production. I figured I would throw that out here in case anyone is in that area.

Yeah this has been tried for months, but good luck. I ended buying 3D spider mats and not disappointed.
Oh...did not know that, sorry. If I would have known it was already posted to try it, I wouldn't have posted a repeat. I didn't see that in any of the threads I was looking at.

Thank you for the heads up on the spider mats. I will check them out.

I reached out to them around 13 months ago. Shocked they haven't gotten one yet. But you have to commit to 2-3 multi hour visits weeks apart and they would only offer a free set of mats. They also wouldn't split it between different trucks for the scanning.

Okay maybe I'm not so shocked but disappointed.

I agree, if it has been that long I would have figured they would have gotten it by now. I can’t believe there aren’t any local.

That was a pretty nice offer for you to go. I’m only 7 hours away, and don’t have the time to do that. And no way would I go multi times for one free set. It would cost you more in traveling…

7 hours would be a brutal trip for even 10 sets of mats ?
I had meant to go to Toronto anyways, but not 3 times. The Ontario Service Center is supposed to be ramping up so they should start delivering to Toronto soon if not already. Maybe next fall Tux Mats will be an option. So far they've missed out on 40k opportunities.
I've been quite happy with my Husky ones though.

FYI Toronto SC is open and has been delivering for a couple of weeks now. Was there yesterday picking up my R1S and they’re overflowing with vehicles!

Re Tuxnat, I was in contact with them as well. I had a bit of a miscommunication but, aside from still needing the time for the R1T scan, they told me that the R1S scan was already done and those mats are in the process of being manufactured. Timeline that they gave me for the R1S ones was 4-6 weeks and that was before Christmas.

Awesome thanks for the update and congrats on your new R1S!

Thank you for your interest in TuxMat!

A 2023 Rivian R1S was recently scanned in our Toronto store and the production of the prototype is underway.

We hope to have custom fitting mats for your vehicle available in approximately 4-6 weeks. We will notify you via email as soon as they are available for purchase.

Have a great day!

That is great news. I wonder if they will be able to use that for the R1T also? I am not familiar, but was just curious.

I ended up purchasing the Kagu (recommended from here), and I must say that I really do like them. I am going to be selling my Rivian R1T all weather mats on here as soon as I get around to taking pictures and listing them.
