This would a great opportunity for a M&A with Fisker to expand the variety of vehicles offered and to surpass Tesla and the other EV's makers.

There is so negative post out there and it would be nice if Rivian PR would address those posts.

Fisker is another startup barely shipping any vehicles and is assuredly not at all profitable yet. They would be a *TERRIBLE* target for M&A at this stage. They don’t even have their own factory, they use contract manufacturing, so Rivian wouldn’t even get any major capital assets out of it.

Not a chance Rivian PR will address any of this internet public stuff, never no way no how. As a shareholder I applaud that Rivian doesn't and sticks to executing their strategic plans in an unwavering manner ignoring all the other noise around them.

As you know Tesla disbanded their PR department for a reason. For a public company to comment on internet rumors & stuff along with short term opinions of the uniformed masses is essentially a no win situation and most likely a lose situation.

IMHO a merger with another unprofitable debt heavy newcomer EV company with a completely different product line and strategy would be a spectacular disaster for everyone that stays with that merged company and the shareholders. Whoever leaves with the billions of dollars secured with debt financing would be the only clear winners. See every other merger on the planet for more details. And how exactly will two companies with revenue of ~$3B and ~$0.3B merge to surpass Tesla with revenue of ~$95B?

If you want answers, buy a share, go to a board meeting and ask a question.

Teslas over bloated stock price is done. All the hype about being a tech company sent them to the moon. They are a car co. and now we will see the stock begin to correct. Rivian is a car co. and I think it's stock has only one way to go.

Fisker would be the absolute death blow. That dude has been building ridiculous cars for 30 years, its not a startup. He just rebrands every few years with another unpopular idea and fails.
Henrik Fisker has never succeeded in anything past being a small business. He's passionate but definitely doesn't have the mind or skillset for mass production of cars that can have mass adoption.

I don't know much about Canoo and their funding, but signing the post office the other day was a big deal. I don't even know if it's possible but that would be a great target.

Canoo is only supplying a few vans for T&E. The news is not as big as it looks on the surface. USPS is far from being ready to make the switch. Too many locations to update for changing… let alone cost of new electric vehicles.

The new vehicle contract is fully funded. First deliveries of the purpose-built trucks start early this year. The contract was signed a year ago - there are specific deliverables and the USPS can't just say no thanks we don't need them anymore. The recent announcement was just about the chargers and some off-the-shelf vehicles to bridge the transition to the next-generation vehicle.
