You'd think he'd be able to afford a decent insurance policy with full glass coverage.

I was just gonna ask if anyone had their own experience that corroborates this clickbait headline.BS
I just had my windshield replaced at the SC. total cost $1,766.25. Included glass, sensor, recalibration, misc materials and labor. Fully covered by my insurance.
So a CEO worth an estimated $2.5 Billion complains about a $4K repair bill on a low-volume $100K car, now forced to drive his Porsche Taycan for a few days... which has a very similar windshield replacement cost.
I change the title: I hope that addressed you concern.@Mikebike97 or @Administrator can someone change to title of this thread to clarify that the repair was of the rear window and not the front windshield? This will hopefully eliminate a lot of discussion regarding unrelated front windshield replacements.
Sounds about what it cost for my 2020 Subaru as well. These clickbait articles are so annoying.BS

Thanks. That partially addresses the issue. People are still going to see the link in your first post and assume the article is about a front windshield repair that cost $4200 and then proceed to tell us how much cheaper their front windshield replacement was. That is both irrelevant to the repair described in the article and a distraction from the point you were hoping to make.I change the title: I hope that addressed you concern.
My point in posting the article had nothing to do with the rear windshield.
Maybe simply taking it down.Thanks. That partially addresses the issue. I happen to personally know Matt Prince. We were law school classmates. He's a down-to-earth guy who likes to use his platform to point out issues he thinks can be improved - including at his own company. Based on the posts in this forum, his complaints are fairly common.Eh, this guy has been harping about not getting red carpet treatment for a while. Can’t tell if it’s him or his money talking
I read his posts on X. They’re not constructive. He can deal with it privately or address it more constructively. Sounds like he’s complaining and whining to meI happen to personally know Matt Prince. We were law school classmates. Complaining and whining is the bedrock of this public forum.I read his posts on X. They’re not constructive. He can deal with it privately or address it more constructively. Sounds like he’s complaining and whining to me
It’s appropriate to do so on a rivian forum. Doing it on Xitter sounds like whining about poor service from Delta AirlinesComplaining and whining is the bedrock of this public forum.
