I have this exact same situation and I need to pull in forward so I can share my Juicebox with a 2016 Nissan Leaf. I built a couple of "ramps" using scrap wood to help pull the truck up. Its basically two layers of 2x4 material about 18 inches wide perpendicular to the wheel path. I have missed a couple of times and the RIT has no problem with the step. It does put the truck cab pretty high off the ground but at 6'3" I am able to climb in.
