Yeh...these new inspection recommendations are going to be a serious challenge for owners further away from service centers for sure.

I decided I am not doing them. They are recommendations and I think not doing them would not be adequate grounds for warranty denial, but that is just my opinion and don't suggest others follow it.

Edit....but my only reason is I am not driving 2 hours each way and letting it sit at a service center for who knows how long...cost isn't the concern...

I just had my Tonneau cover update performed/installed. I added to my ticket, the Comprehensive Maintenance. Since I had recently had mobile service change out the air filter and wiper blades, the SC only charged me $240.00 for the Comprehensive, they did the Multi-point but did not charge for this. I currently have ~22K in just over the first year of ownership.

Just an FYI...on the Powered Tonneau cover repair, Rivian is scheduling these for same-day service. For this appointment. I dropped off at 9 am and the truck was ready by 3:00 pm.

Have my appointment next week for the comprehensive inspection. Just got my review and approve estimate notice. I have just over 22,500 in a year of ownership. They called me to try and add on a rotation but I just had that done. First one I did myself and the last two I did at Discount Tire. I paid for one rotation and balance and they are now free at Discount Tire.

That’s a great question, I assumed it was as Cleveland Service center is less backed up than most right now. They scheduled it the day I put the ticket in and had sooner dates available. Guess I better call and find out as it’s an hour from home for me and at least half hour from work.

Confirmed, just talk to the them and they said it’s about a 1hr service and I can wait for it. Should only take longer if they find something which they will talk to you about before they take any action.
