Rivian scores BIG in Consumer Reports! #1 on List of "Owner Satisfaction by Brand"

Imagine our surprise to see March Consumer Reports. We owners apparently have good taste and passion for our trucks! : ) Read the article if you can grab a copy as Rivian lands in top spot throughout many different areas of research...

This is a very big deal for the company. If they would have polled me the results would have been even better.

Questionnaire did not ask about glass roof, CarPlay, audio quality, vampire infestation, ice build up on headlights, weak heater, key fob, PAAK, wind noise, clickity suspension, the clown horn, 12V outlets, service centers, guides who are actually ghosts, crappy wipers….

It asked only about bubble gum scented washer fluid.

Yes and they also rate Rivian as one of the most unreliable brand. I mean Rivian vehicles have only been on the roads for 2 years. ??‍

This helps to illustrate the fact that complaints tend to be amplified beyond reality on forums. Unfortunately many people can't see through the fog and think the forum complaints represent the majority of owners. They clearly don't.

The top 4 (possibly 5) are niche markets. Niches tend to have very high satisfaction. I hope Rivian keeps the satisfaction as it goes mainstream. Tesla used to be #1 in satisfaction, but dropped as sales went beyond early adopter enthusiasts.

If Rivian can improve their service and SC shortcomings (available parts, faster service, better QC at delivery, etc) before R2 ships, then these scores go nowhere but up.

Hey that bubblegum washing fluid is one of the top reasons I bought the truck. I ran out within 24 hours of taking delivery.
