Why can’t I add the Rivian widget?

The widget is not for the Lock Screen

It reflects what is shown in the app. Go to the app, tap the miles, and the display will change to percent. Then the widget will show the same.

Didn't work for me either at first, even after having the most recent Rivian app version installed.
I needed to restarted my iPhone !

I turned on the Moderate when leaving work last night. The area I work in is covered in railroad crossings, and BAD roads. Within 1/2 mile I had to turn it back to Soft.

Yeah. To me, Moderate is like Firm... ?
or I would call it Crusty?

I thought this as well, you have to drag the icon into the tray and place it on top of one of the vertical lines in the UI.

How do I drag the heated steering wheel down to the botton (next to the heated seat icon) ?
I can't get that icon to move at all ...

Update is coming out. Cool features added with quick control icons which are pretty darn useful. The gear guard update just adds the late night stop motion video to the infotainment so you can watch it in the car on the main screen.

I can't get that icon to move at all ...

No idea - start with hardware and software types and versions to make sure you’re comparing apples to apples with others
I’m on the latest software on everything - app and software on truck, watch (series5) and iphone 15pro (it was free with a tradie-in)
Everything worked without rebooting though the widget only shows mileage not percentage
Most of the posted instructions seem to work and follow apple support posts
I haven’t tried the main screen icon add
I’m guessing you can’t move the icons inside the different pages only the icons that are part of the main screen lower tray
Widgets are a swipe to the right when viewing the Lock Screen on iphone

Meh...I'm enjoying "moderate" over here. It's much closer to what soft used to be before the big ride update that turned it into a marshmallow with poor body control. I haven't tried "firm"/stiff yet, but I'm hoping the set it back closer to what it used to be so I don't necessarily need sport mode in the canyons or other twisty road so I can stay in standard height.

Now that we have the vehicle quick functions tab, I'd love to see an easily accessible button to turn on/off lane keep assist. On a straight road I really appreciate having it with the touchscreen controls, but on any road with curves or lanes that split from one to two (or big turn lanes) the LKA just tries to rip the wheel out of my hands because it thinks it's supposed to fly over to the new left lane line. Or on a curvy road it doesn't like me hugging the right edge, which I'm going to do because people can't help from coming over the center line in the canyons. Right now it's buried several menus/taps deep and not really safe to change on the fly. Or for that matter, make that option accessible to Alexa and I'd be happy.

New update is very nice. Only loss of function I see is that you can not bring up garage doors while in reverse. I usually close the garage before I change to drive. Now I just have to switch to drive first before closing my garage.

Quick action buttons that are present around my home automatically to open the garage would be nice as well.
