Can anybody on here who has a dual motor R1T on 21s give an approximation of the highway efficiency? I'm going to trade my quad on 20s, and trying to decide between a new dual motor or a slightly (under 10,000 miles) used quad from a dealer. Used quad is $10,000 cheaper. I've got 58,000 miles on mine with an early VIN. Don't trust it to go over 60,000 without it costing me $$. Has had repeated problems, but love the truck. Used VIN is over 23,000.

What's the trade offer?

DM has less warranty. If the quad has really low mileage I would say it's a good deal bc it has already taken some depreciation and it's a later VIN. KBB says mid to upper 40s for trade.

Did you purchase pre price hike? If so, you can just put AS 275/60/20 tires on and save some money. My R1S quad in conserve mode on 20’s with AS tires gets the same efficiency as dual motor. I did a test from 100-0 charge on my daily driving. Took 10 days to drain, mostly city driving, I went 343 miles in conserve mode. Same test I only went 290 in all purpose.
On a 140 mile trip on Florida turnpike at 75mph my S was averaging 2.25.
Two pictures on Florida turnpike. R1S at 85mph averaging 2.02 mi/kwh.
My R1T quad with 21’s at 84mph averaging 1.90 mi/kwh.

Thank you!! This is information I was after. I have Michelin CrossClimate 2s on now. In conserve on interstate (in warmer temps) I get 2.1-2.2, but I don't drop the suspension to save the tires. I normally drive 73 mph?.

Now I would be interested to see the efficiency numbers of the dual motor with 20’s on 275/60/20 AS tires. I don’t think anyone has done that yet.

If I keep this truck when I need new tires I'm going with a pure AS tire. These are a "hybrid" tire. I have 33,000 miles on them and they are 9/32. I'll take it.
