Actually, looking again, it looks like it has a seam and hinges right to left with a little latch at the front. Certainly not as slick as what they originally showed for those doors, but at least it doesn’t seem to be completely dead space.

So they got rid of the storage in the door of the gear tunnel it looks like? That what it seemed like to you, @DuckTruck ?

Anyone know if this LG or FG? Serious question, I promise! LG looks so different in each picture I’ve seen. I’m torn between the greens. FG is so rich and LG looks very washed out for my taste.

That is correct regarding the hinge and it folding open towards the front to expose an area that I believe will hold some small items. I seem to remember that it would hold a wallet, watch and phone, maybe. Perhaps a towel for wiping things off like boots and other gear. Not huge, but well thought out for convenience.

Isn't that where the air hose and accessories go?

Did they drop the chiliwich mats for the gear tunnel doors?

These three pictures serve as a testimonial to how different lighting conditions and different cameras can affect the appearance of these trucks.

I'm sure she's in the Gear Tunnel of the same Forest Green truck that shares the tent I'm seen in here later that same day.

In these three pictures, both trucks are parked in approximately the same spot on different days. They rolled through that same door to the right, and are sitting under the exact same inside lighting. I'm certain I was in the tent later in the day than she was in the Gear Tunnel.

In my picture, when you look at the reflections on the side of the truck and the light coming through the skylights above, you'll note more evening like conditions, therefore less sunlight brightening the sides and top of the truck.

In her pic, the outside windows behind the photographer and the skylights above show the sky is brighter, with more daylight hitting the truck.

That Forest Green truck was the only truck I remember being in the Engagement Center with a tent installed on it.

For a comparison purpose, I added the shot of the Launch green truck sitting in the same space during midday, cloudy conditions.

The thing I can say with certainty is that both colors look great and each looks different, depending on the lights and surroundings.

Thanks @DuckTruck, really appreciate all the insight you’ve provided the past few days. I know you are firmly in the LG confit but I am still torn. It is amazing how the lighting changes the colors so much. I guess I’ll just have to wait to see them in person to decide between FG and LG.

I’m glad my guide hasn’t reached out yet, as I’m sure I’ll annoy the hell out of them switching back and forth between LG and FG every 24 hours!

There appears to be a finger hole at the leading edge(top when closed) of the door. Air compressor accessories go inside the door.

also, now I know where that family of six puts the 4th kid in an R1T.

Haha- that reminds me of when I was kid coming home from the family cabin in grandpa's green series land rover. I got to ride home wedged in atop the full load in the back and the roof...

Oh dang, I hope we didn't lose those, they looked great!
I'm certain they're turning most of those floormats into coasters. And if anyone believes that, I have shocking news for them. The word "Gullible " isnt even in the Dictionary. ?

I get it! That Forest Green reminds me of one of my favorite Oregon Ducks helmets (out of the 40+ versions) over the past decade.

Uncle Phil is the best uncle any kid (especially a life-long, rabid Duck fan) could ever ask for!

Since your associates FG with the ducks, I may need to go edit my configurator away from FG to Rivian Blue!

Isn't that where the air hose and accessories go?

Did they drop the chiliwich mats for the gear tunnel doors?
Commodore,

I believe you're right about the air hose. If so, this oversight makes me a bit of an air-head.

I do believe the "doormats" may have been scrubbed. I only remember the hard plastic surface to stand on. That said, it seemed to provide good traction. I'd prefer not to have Chiliwich there as I'm afraid closing the door might introduce more dirt and moisture into the tunnel. That, and the plastic wipes right off.

I thought it was during a demonstration of wiping off that step that revealed a towel down there in the storage compartment.

Anyone else out there from "Cloud 10" remember?
