The deal with Chargepoint is they sell hardware and a software billing service. Each location sets up the system, cost and maintenance how they want so it's the property owner that's often to blame for the stupidity. There's a L2 Chargepoint station owner in Fontana that charges $5 connection fee and like .50/kw so it's a crazy charge if you stop for lunch.
