So I missed the first highway pothole @ 65MPH, and then the second one. .... and etc. etc. until I didn't (thanks, CA).
My question: My R1T (AT 20s) clearly bottomed out the RHS suspension. Hard. Everything seems fine, the alignment same as it was before (as far as I can tell), the ATs have no marks at all on the side , and no strange jitters or any other odd behavior.

Given my Tesla X ripped its control arm right off ....
is there anything in particular I should be looking for to ensure everything is in order?

If possible, get someone to check the inside of the tire for possible damage. Nasty potholes can pinch the rubber, weakening it. If there is damage to the inner sidewall, you might want to consider replacing that tire before the sidewall bubbles or blows.

This post is nice timing as i hit a doozy on 580 on way home today.

It was nasty and felt very hard.

These things eat up potholes. I hit a couple every day and my alignment is perfect. No damage to anything.

Hahah I think I hit the same one as well earlier today
I was 580 eastbound, was like a lake bed appeared from nowhere.

They just re-did the main roads near my neighbourhood so I just don't drive beyond that. Seriously though, our roads are rally bad. I've seen better roads in some developing countries.

And I thought CA had the best roads. SMH. You should see TX and RI. They have the worst.
