Anyone get the 5K Electric Upgrade Offer? I want an R1T in the Shop, but I need to know what Rivian will give me in trade before I can make a decision. Problem is that I would need to pluck down $1000 non-refundable in the hopes of maybe seeing an offer. Will I get to see the trade in offer after get past this screen?

IIRC you don't get the trade offer until you commit, but you do get the option to sell it yourself if you don't like their offer.

Some people have been able to get their deposit back due to trade-in perceived value being too low, but I would not count on it.

I was thinking about trading in my R1T for an S and was able to get an offer before committing. I used the customer service chat and they got me in touch with a lead sales specialist who gave me the offer. I can provide his email for you if you like.

I wouldn’t put much faith or hope in a trade in offer. Mine was so low that donating my 2023 Jeep to a charity would have been a better choice!
