Best running boards recommendations for R1T ?

Suggestions on running boards for R1T please. Hard to install? Would like to keep the plastic panels if possible.

I may be a little biased ? , but our RealWheels EV running boards are American made, stainless steel so they will never rust, have extrusions so you won’t slip, and offer the best fitting plastic panels to the brackets. Installation is pretty straight forward and can be done in a driveway or garage.

Just ordered these and the horn upgrade a few days ago. Already received the horn - installing today. Excited for the boards!

Definitely a number of options out there, but these sold me w/ combination of price, stainless steel construction (I’ve heard others are rusting), extruded anti slip pattern, and ease of install. Supposedly. Haven’t gotten there yet

If Keeping the plastic panels is your goal or keeping the vehicle stock then I recommend DCE/Weistec running boards/rock sliders.

Can’t go wrong with black or brushed. Brushed gives a more bold look that stands out, and black gives you more of a traditional look while still getting the benefits of the stainless steel base material.

I went with Weistec’s DCE rock sliders. They are pricey but I’m super happy with them. I don’t really do much off-roading but I swap my own summer/winter tires and with DCE I can lift one whole side of my truck and it doesn’t matter where I place my floor jack. These things are super strong.
