i am literally agreeing with you on the speed limiter and this is your reply... it's entirely possible you are from outer space.
Golf burger I apologize. I'm multitasking and accidentally responded you and not the other guy. I am glad you understand what I'm talking about

If only a couple minutes of research prior to purchase could’ve saved you from this terrible mistake and saved great money. Oh wait, you knew from the start that the limit is 45mph and are just bitching to make yourself feel special. Makes sense.
I still love the truck, just want to make it better. Why are you all pushing back against this LOL

Because you’re throwing a temper tantrum like a four year old. Making a well reasoned and worded post about the desired change is entirely different from the crap you’re throwing around.

The Prius thing was a joke jeeeees. Didn't know you'd all get so offended. Doesn't matter how I delivered the post. The change is a good idea

Delivery always matters. You could tell someone that they’re fucked up like a football bat and walk away or provide accurate criticism and corrections to make a change. Same problem, different delivery, wildly different results.

You're right. I'm sorry. Please tell your higher ups that we would like the 45mph limiter either raised or removed. Thank you.
- Everyone that actually owned a truck before getting a Rivian.

Not in Duel Motor set up / also they turn off sensors it that mode
Don't buy the poors model next time.

Anyway, rally isn't meant for high-mu surfaces. Seems fine for normal driving until you need to sharply turn to avoid hitting something. Then it's obvious why Rivian doesn't give you the option.

Also, if you're really a truck person like you say you are, you would have already put something like these in yours. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/...tment-kit-for-r1t-r1s-lower-lift-level.26125/

Enjoy your pavement princess.

Pay an extra 12k for rally mode and less battery got it. Thank you.

Could never imagine driving my R1 in High mode at speed but hey I never owned a Prius nor a jacked up truck with my balls hanging off the back.

If a rep from Rivian were to read this they may not decide to remove the limiter in a software update due to you guys pushing back against it. Doesn't make sense
Use critical thinking skills for just 2 minutes here. If there was no stability or safety reason to limit high mode to 45mph, and they could flip a switch without issue, why would they put the limit in there in the first place? Your "cater to Prius drivers" hyperbole makes zero sense. You're just acting like a petulant toddler instead of actually participating in good faith.

Ram’s air suspension lets you go 25mph in highest mode, 45 in high. It self lowers at these speeds, obviously for rollover safety.
Jump into a set of 4”” heals and run at full sprint, let us know how it goes for you.

Just put my Prius powered 24 Tundra up for sale, off-road tires and a bed still don’t make up for the sloppy power train. Picking up another R1T after refresh, I have learned my lesson not to stray from Rivian greatness. That and my wife refuses to give my current R1T back.
