The photo does not appear genuine to me. The Rivian is sitting way too low, the “car” has significant fire damage, but both front tires don’t burn?

It’s sitting low because the air suspension is blown out from the fire.

Also you can clearly see the tops of the tires are glossy from melting.

@WhisperPickle I hope everyone is okay and insurance covers the loss for you. I’m assuming this wasn’t a battery fire or there wouldn’t be as much remaining of the house. Did the fire start in the house and spread to the Rivian?

@NmbrsNvrLie I understand being stressed and short on time but if this happened to me, I’d be busy enough initially that I wouldn’t take the time to post at all, especially with such a vague title with no other text. If I did post, “House fire burned my R1S,” or, “My R1S caused a fire,” would have been easier to type and more informative than “Rough day for my R1S... burned down.”

I agree that if legit, I hope everything is okay with OP and works out for him.

Since the OP provided 0 context, there are some valid concerns with these photos. There is fresh unburnt wood in the back right rear corner of that carport. The vehicle appears to be "burned to the ground" but not the house around it (especially the upper roof)? I've seen many photos of cars burned to this extent (ICE, EV, both the car's fault and houses fault) and there is not that much "house" remaining around it (at all). A wood house is going to burn to the ground before a metal vehicle does.

Where’s the hood and front fender? Are we supposed to believe that it burned hot enough to melt aluminum but not rubber tires? Too much is fishy about this. I’m going with fake or insurance job until more information surfaces.
