Anyone else still waiting? I wish there was a way to initiate the download from the Rivian or the app. This waiting is driving me crazy…

Thanks. Still waiting as well. Heading out on a towing trip Wednesday morning and I don’t like to mess with the configuration too soon before a trip.

Anyone do any towing with the new software?

We have not yet received the update. We don't look at this as a problem. We usually wait at least a week before downloading an update to make sure there are no problems with it. We like to review impressions of the new update here on the Rivian Forum. We want to avoid rushing into downloading possible problems.

Still waiting too. I called service today and they said it’s out of their hands. Nothing they can do to push the update on their end

I have the truck lock settings to stay unlocked at home, worked perfectly before update.
After the update, it will not stay unlocked. Toggled lock setting, soft reboot, hard reboot, nothing has worked. Had to leave the phone in the house while working outside because everytime I got close enough it would lock and unlock.

R1S (VIN 025XXX, Dual/Max, Build November 2023, delivered new 2024-02-16) received update 2024.19.04 on Friday evening 2024-06-28, installed Saturday afternoon 2024-06-29.

R1T (VIN 023XXX, Quad/Large, Build April 2023, delivered as Demo 2024-05-25) has not received update yet.

I don't have enough information to guess the pattern of what vehicles get the update when.

In general, I like the idea of updating the fleet gradually. That means any update-related problems are likely to show up when they're easiest to fix.

I'm pleased with the new fonts and graphics. It's very nice to have turn signals more obvious, with darker indicator, louder noise, and blind spot camera on the Driver's Screen. I haven't noticed any changes in the ride, but we were on smooth roads yesterday so I wouldn't expect to perceive any changes yet.

They still need to make some obvious and easy relocations -- there is still NO reason not to put time, temperature, and odometer on the Driver's Screen! -- but I think Rivian is moving in the right direction with 2024.19.04.

May wait until connect+ and casting are available before I update mine. Don’t really see the new update as helpful or worth it until then IMHO. Plus my truck is working fine currently anyways ?‍

Ugg. This new UI is awful; it looks like a child's game. Like software for a small child, not even a teen.

Maybe this is Rivian's way of encouraging me to move on.
