That's been my thought, too. It's bizarre they'd do that, but it seems to be the only thing that makes sense, given that those of us waiting around seem to have multiple vehicles.

Pretty strange consideration IMO, especially if they decided to delay the first adapter so it'd ship with the second.

Well, I'll find out soon and let everyone here know. I actually had to opt in for an adapter again recently, so I am not expecting 3 adapters for my 3 Rivians.

Seems very odd you have not been asked to confirm shipping yet. You took delivery earlier than many here.

Yeah - in April in northwestern PA I was watching my Bluetooth temp logger while we were at an EA fast charger. It was 60 degrees outside and the frunk reached 118 while charging!

I was wondering if anyone has tried to insulate their frunk to reduce those passive heat loads from around the tub?

I posted earlier. Multi-Rivian owner here. First took R1T delivery in 9/2022 and got the adapter shipping confirmation email earlier today (7/22/2024).

I actually got a second opt-in to the adapter email on 7/2/2024. I have no idea if the second email is associated with the R1S I purchased new in 7/2023 or the R1S I bought used in 12/2023. I think the latter was first delivered in 9/2023 or 10/2023.

I am only expecting one adapter despite what @Dark-Fx was told.

Funny enough, I got a second opt-in email on the 2nd as well. So clearly there's something they are trying to figure out.

My account is a bit confusing because I had two accounts, and had them merge the accounts just before I got the second vehicle, because I didn't want to deal with two accounts. They moved the earlier vehicle over to the newer one, which might be messing things up. At the same time, I've read that some people who bought a used vehicle originally delivered after R1T already have their adapter.

This is why I have to assume it's the multi-vehicle issue causing the delay.

There’s no rhyme or reason. My delivery was 05/24 (yes, 2 monts ago). I got the confirmation email on July 2nd but didn’t want to rub it in everyone’s faces…

I'm in the identical boat. 3/22 delivery for R1T 17xx VIN and 20XXX for R1S delivered Dec. 2023. Both adapters are pending shipping now in in my 'order history' in my portal.

Hmmm, I’ve confirmed my address after receiving the 2nd email, but no pending shipping for the adapter in my order history.

Are others seeing the adapter in their order history?
