I'm really sorry to here about your experience at Discount Tire. Was it the Discount Tire Company in Vancouver, Washington by any chance?had a similar experience at Discount Tire. i specifically asked if they had worked on Rivians, if they had the jack pucks, know where the lift points are, and know how to use them and know about the tire service mode in the software. they said yes to all. i waited in the lobby and was doing some work and not a few min later i see my vehicle jacked up without pucks. i go out there to tell them to stop. they are lifting the vehicle directly on the plastic panels. i ask them why they are not using pucks and they say it doesnt fit. i ask to see the pucks and are plastic and have no nipple and he was trying to place them where the bolt hole is. WTF.
i get my own jack pucks out, which i happened to have, and show them where to lift it. i also tell them about tire change mode, which they hadn't enabled. after they were done, i checked underneath and the plastic panels were damaged.
i wrote about it a couple of months ago. someone from Discount Tire responded and messaged me saying the said the manager would call. well, he never called. 3 more times i followed up and they said the manager would call and nothing.
Stay away from Discount Tire - POS. @Discount Tire

About 4 weeks ago, Discount Tire replaced the tires on my R1t. I had gone to them once before for a tire rotation, and they seemed to know how to do a rotation, so I thought I'd give them a try again.
This time, I thought everything had gone well, until I got back home and noticed: (1) all the jack puck covers were unsnapped and dangling from the bottom of the truck. But they were still attached, so I quickly crawled under the truck and snapped them back on; (2) Also, I was surprised to find that they had only aired up the tires to 43-lbs each, not 48. So, I pumped them all up with the compressor. I have no idea what that was all about? And, (3) I was really annoyed with one of their associates who was caught on my driver's side camera, intensely rubbing my card key across the paint all over the exterior of the door. He looked exasperated for the longest time while he couldn't figure out how to get the door to open!
I don't trust Discount Tire. And, I really wished Costco carried the replacement tires for Rivian.
