Did Gen 2 custom builds just get delayed? ?

Crazy that Rivian seems to have both too much supply AND demand at the same time (from the perspective of an outside observer).

Rivianroamer.com reports > 700 gen 2 vehicles in the shop. Even if we assume that they're double-listing some of those as Large+ packs, seems crazy they're not fulfilling custom orders. Also Rivian, if you're listening, there's all of Canada that's still waiting for shop access to gen 2 vehicles!!

I think a lot of people are configuring the dark package and premium audio, which isn't being produced in high volumes right now. Also could be a wheel constraint, been seeing a lot more 22" bright wheels popping up.

I think a lot of people are configuring the dark package and premium audio, which isn't being produced in high volumes right now. Also could be a wheel constraint, been seeing a lot more 22" bright wheels popping up.
I see quite a few Dark / Premium Audio builds in the store and have seen similar builds to my config. This seems to primarily affect people who changed their config, and if Rivian only update their database once a quarter that means our orders weren't even in the queue for the past 2 months, which kinda sucks if true.

I am in Quebec. Nothing left in the shop and only quads in Ontario. Vancouver have very little as well. I have a voucher and want my R1S before voucher ends. They wont let me build I must find what I want in the shop

Anyone got news about their delivery? Over a week since it switched to "Processing estimate" without further info. :(
I finally heard back from Support today and it was basically a non-answer—can't give me any specifics on timing but should still fall within the "Aug-Sep" timeframe.

I am going to reply and ask them to clarify why things changed from "Aug-Sep" to "Processing Estimate." Certainly that means something changed in their system, and I'd like to lift the curtain to understand what that actually means (e.g., is the car being built?).

I finally heard back from Support today and it was basically a non-answer—can't give me any specifics on timing but should still fall within the "Aug-Sep" timeframe.
I also finally got an email response from support yesterday (a week later) with a non-answer. At least you got somewhat confirmation of Aug-Sep timeframe. The response I got was essentially "it could be many reasons, but I don't know why your delivery estimate disappeared. Just wait a little bit longer!" Lol. I asked specifically whether they could confirm Aug-Sep timeframe still applied and why the timeframe changed from "Aug-Sep" to "Processing Estimate."

The answer: "Our teams are constantly re-evaluating and looking for a way to make the process better, which sometimes leads to a delivery time frame to be re-confirmed. This could occur due to several reasons that may or may not impact your delivery time frame in one way or another. However, unfortunately, at this moment, from the General Customer Support side, I don’t have a lot of insight into it, but as we get closer, our Digital Purchasing team will reach out to you for the next steps and at the same time could help answer your questions which is why I would recommend waiting out just a little bit more as I’m sure you will get more information in the next period!" What?

Only recently joined. Was bannefor spam for some reason...

Do you have an example of this? Spot checking the shop it's only included with Tri and Quad. Of which there haven't been any on the shop that I see.
