Does anyone own a MUSTART charger?

Since the Fisker deal didn't work out and Enel closing up shop, I would like find a reasonable charger. I stumbled upon the MUSTART charger and it looks like its the 'dumb' version of the wallbox - meaning, no bluetooth or internet required, and a 25ft cable, 40A. NEMA

Anyone played with one?

Sorry, not to disregard your question. But what's your logic about searching for another charger? Is there a specfic feature that you're looking for?

If it's price, I got myself a brand-new boxed Rivian Wall Charger off from facebook marketplace at $350 bucks (they were asking $400 for it). Wired and installed it myself and it's rock solid (and pretty)

25 feet and 40amps and a NEMA plug ;-). I have an Enel Jucebox 30A and if and when it dies (which does happen as this is a replacement) I'd like to have another charger ready to go. the fisker was a great deal for an excellent charger.

I need 25 feet as when I have the tent on top of my R1T rack I can't charge in my garage. I have to pull the Enel off the wall to do it which is a real pain in the butt.

My son has a Mustart 40 amp NEMA 14-50 that he got about 5 years ago to charge his Pacifica PHEV. He now uses it for an Equinox EV as well. I have charged my Rivian and my Bolt many times on it. A simple basic system that’s had a lot of use over 5 years and still works…

I have the Mustart travel master that we purchased to use with the MachE. We lived in military housing at the time and needed a charger to use with the dryer outlet. I like that you can purchase other connectors and that it automatically adjust to the current of the electrical outlet.

I haven’t used it in a long time since we moved and paid to have a 50 amp outlet installed in our house. We now have the Emporia charger, which has been awesome.

I own a mustart 40 amp charger. Two of them failed and were replaced by the manufacturer. Third one has worked well, though I don’t use it every day.

It makes me nervous given the issues I had with the first two. That said, it works when it works. YMMV.
