note: this is stream of observations day 1, not necessarily negatives, just observations 
Got my R1S TriMax today! So, Short experience post: the communications leading up to the delivery and during the wait period could be improved tremendously. I had open questions day of delivery that were not addressed until I was at delivery center. Bottom line, it was hard to get quick responses from delivery team, and rarely ever got a call from them.
I didn’t do through look over on the car, not toooooo picky on panel alignment and stuff, but I think this unit was put together very well! Can’t complain too much!
There was a deep scratch on the tow hook cover rear of car, that they replaced the black cover for on the spot since they couldn’t buff it out.
driver door sealing is a bit off, but I figured I will deal with it for now. And attempt to self mitigate it.
only “minor problem” I’ve had so far is that audio didn’t work at all initially during walkthrough, and a soft reset restored that functionality. However the premium audio sounded very muddy even with Dolby atmos. This seems to have improved a little bit after a sleep cycle. But still nothing compared to Tesla Model Y or BMW base audio.
Currently have a “major problem” my iOS app will not let me toggle the climate controls. It just says “Climate controls are unavailable while someone is sitting in a front seat.” Unless this is a Halloween feature of a ghost sitting in my front seat, it seems busted. Sleep cycle has not helped here, and hesitant to do another soft reset twice in a day.. any pointers on this would be appreciated! I notice clicks and vibrations on the pedals every time the wiper blade wipes. Or when the auto hold engages/disengages. The heap pump is loud, but not that bad in cabin, vibrations is minimal.
I love the ride! Very smooth! Steering is nice. Highway assistance is OK, not good as BMW’s. Air suspension is amazing, not too bouncy at all. It is rainy here so cannot give full beans yet unfortunately.
