For all vehicles?
I thought that was part of the R1 Retool/Refresh video of modifications. Like the rear cupholder in the R1S changed from a door covered to a cubby with no door. I could be mistaken, have to watch that video again.

That is still a door covered cubby for the Ascend interiors. OP got an Ascend interior, so it should have the bronze trim there.

Good question. Truck is getting wrapped and tinted... Don't know, but I don't think the passenger side has it.
If you wish, I can trade you my 4 Motor, Meridian R1T, for your 3 Motor, 2 tone seat mount R1T.

I'll take the hit for a fellow forum member...

I do have the dark out decal for the hood emblem in the black satin that I need to put on.

The headlights and light bar look pretty dark but in person it's much lighter oddly enough.

Overall I'm very happy. The only small little thing I could say is that I wish they had the crossbar brackets also in a dark metal finish however again who will really notice?

For better or for worse storm blue is definitely a chameleon color similar to the limestone. It takes on very different looks depending on lighting. I'll be honest I do like it more when more blue is seen versus the gray, but again to put it into perspective this is essentially the Amazon delivery van color. Rivian CS did state that they are very similar colors so if you are thinking about storm blue just look at the electric Amazon vans and there you have it.

Did you buy one of the light bar tint kits (TWraps or similar) or just have your installer do it?

Also, any feedback on efficiency compared to your quad? Supposed to be trading in my R1S Quad 20" for Tri on 22 next Tuesday. I'm seeing mixed, and frankly somewhat disappointing, range figures out of the tri-max. So much is user dependent so trying not to look too much into it.

Also, I going straight from the Service Center to the stereo shop to have a JL sub installed in the new one. I've lived with disappointing bass in the current R1 for far too long.

Just got my R1T back... Yup passenger side has the trim. Driver side doesn't. So gonna have to get this replaced.

Sometimes I scratch my head and think what the heck is Rivian doing? They bothered to add shiny trim to make it look more upscale but did nothing to fix that panel gap on the seat trim which makes it look cheap. Seriously what are they doing over there.

That gap is there by design. It opens (and closes) as the seat articulates.

As for tints the shop did everything, I didn't buy anything.

Range is weird, because "All Purpose" shows 356 miles, but "Conserve" shows 395 miles... I feel the range is definitely better then my G1 Quad, today I drove 235 miles and got home with 130 miles left. This was probably at an average speed of 60mph, but my thoughts are this...

1. Range is probably 35 miles better then G1 Quad with 22" wheels in All Purpose. I expect the new G2 Quad to have the same range as current G1 Quad if not worse.

2. Tri motor, dropping to Conserve mode will net you more miles, roughly 55 miles more then G1 Quad (325 vs 375)

3. With the Aero 21" wheels I'm hoping to hit a true 355 miles real world driving and 375 miles in Conserve mode, and maybe get over 400 miles in Conserve driving 60-70mph avg.

4. If you want a 400 mile EV truck, Tri Motor is not the way to go and honestly I'd go GMC Denali EV, and or if I personally had to buy another vehicle I would've bought the Hummer EV SUT with extended range battery. People report a real world of essentially 370 miles and that in a standard drive mode.

To be honest I am a little disappointed in the range of the Tri Motor, I canceled my Quad motor reservation and will sadly get a full-size EV truck or SUV next, but I plan on keeping my G2 R1T3 so long as it doesn't have any major issues.

I'll post my range results once I get my Aero wheels on.

Which gap are you referring to? That vertical gap is bad assembly, it's not supposed to move with the seat. I know we all love our cars but that doesn't mean we turn a blind eye to things.

You are incorrect. That gap changes as you move the seat position. It is by design, maybe ugly, but by design.
