Chains for R1S, 21" wheels

Based on what? Peerless seems to disagree with that blanket statement.

I did own them but can honestly say I didn't use them before I sold them but again usually if you want to tell someone they're wrong you come with some evidence or you just look like a fool. Best of luck to you.

@jjswan33 I was going off the Amazon site that lists the tire specifications. No 275/55 21 listed. However the Pirelli tires say M+S so does that mean snow would work with these tires without chains in CA?

In the particular chain control scenario we were in last weekend in Tahoe (R1), that's correct. In most cases, if you have AWD and M+S tires on all four wheels, you don't need to install chains, though you must carry them in the vehicle

In the worst case (R3) all vehicles require chains, but they'll usually close the highway in that situation.

That's going to be because it's such an unsual size. Sometimes you have to do a bit of sleuthing and math to find a tire with the same dimensions that is listed.

Spike Spiders offers a set for the 21" wheel. they are not cheap, but they bite . I have spoken to the factory rep here in the US. He is good to work with, tell him you saw my post, or simply you have a Rivian.
