Authorities did a great job of closing roads, schools, offices, etc. as necessary and folks followed the advice and stayed home. Lots of practice with the hurricanes & TS. Records are sketchy this far back but the best they could tell it’s been since the 1890s. First ever blizzard warnings for LA.

Nice, you guys learned from the Atlanta Snowpocalypse where 2" of snow brought Atlanta to its knees. Understandable for people that aren't used to driving in the stuff and cities that aren't equipped to clear the roads. Good to hear people stayed home.

We had a maybe 6" of snow in Wichita recently and people seemed to do pretty good at staying home for the first day to give the plows a chance to clean up a little. I do like how Wichita has given punny names to our snowplows and have their location on a live map.

Snowmobile vs rivian
Snow mode is pretty good on deep snow but i think the snowmobile still wins !

500 mi/h... Yikes
The motors had preconditionned the battery to ~17C and were super hot at about 120C on the short way to the charger. I would not use conserve mode doing preconditioning when very cold out... Front motors have reached up to 140 degrees C on the drive/charge before.
