Tri Max R1S — 1st week

Hi All ~ Really pleased with my new LA Silver R1S!

Ascend Interior, 22” Sport Dark wheels, Darkout Package

To my aesthetic sensibility - LA Silver color is the sharpest color out there! I really like how it contrasts with the black and darkout scheme.

From an exterior standpoint, I think the car is complete - gorgeous from the get-go. I’ve added yellow-covers for the tow-hooks as a visual highlight. To finish things up, I plan to get clear-PPF (XPEL) + ceramic coating.

The interior is really high quality and feels luxurious. I also like the overall roominess of the interior. The controls are reasonably straightforward and easily learnt quickly.

I have invested in good quality seat-covers and have a nice big space for my dog to ride in!

Congrats! Beautiful R1S

Tried to convince ourselves to get LA Silver but the wife fell in love with Storm Blue and honestly I did too. Would have paid for the PPF and window tint.

Congrats! Nice looking truck. At first I wanted about 5 other colors than silver but ended up with silver. Now I wouldn't trade it for any other color. I think it really accentuates the styling of both the R1T and R1S. With your 22" wheels I think it looks more "sporty" and with 20's, it looks more rugged.

@ssc81 , Awesome. Got my tri in storm blue/ slate interior as well. Totally agree, the ascend interior is way better than the other trims.

one issue I am having is that there is a loud rattle from the front dashboard center grill area during motion - more so during cold weather. Have you noticed similar issue with yours?

Do you have the heat or AC on? It could be the heat pump.

Heat pump is not on. It is the center dashboard speaker grill area making pretty annoyingly loud noise. When I put some pressure on it, it seems to die down. So 100% it is causing the sound.

If I were to buy a new R1S I’d likely get silver. I currently have a limestone Quad (not by choice, just an an amazing deal.) I do like the limestone, but in Seattle where 2/3 of the year is grey skies it seems a little redundant. Many of the other colors are interesting too, but when I see them in person they often fall a little flat. Silver is the only color that looks good in every light….

I am having the same rattle issue. Service scheduled for march 20

There are various rattles on the gen 2 from the dashboard and various door panels. I had mine fixed on the front passenger door and now the driver rear door is doing the same.

Lol !! The air cleaner is a Jet AFS -1000 B.
While some may call it a garage I prefer to think of it as a drive-in wood shop.

I am having the same rattle issue. Service scheduled for march 20

An update on the dash rattle issue. Service came today and insulated the top panel of the front dash section. No rattle since then.
