I thought there is an ability to put our Rivians into valet mode, limiting access to areas like the frunk and gear tunnel. I can’t seem to find it in the settings anymore. Did I imagine this was available in the past?

No, that option doesn't exist yet. The one time I used a valet, I just made sure to take out all valuables. The vast majority of valets are honest folks. I just wouldn't leave out anything tempting that's visible from the driver's seat.
I also recommend you hand them the FOB rather than the key card. This will save you the time of having to teach them where to hold the card.
This may not be an issue if you are somewhere that gets a lot of Rivians. I was at a conference in Nashville and it was not a Rivian-dense location.

If we ever get valet mode, I really hope that it prevents the Rivian from changing height while in valet mode. Over New Year's we had our R1S in three different NYC garages and I know at least two of them use lifts to double-stack the vehicles (with the Rivian obviously on the bottom). I got some pretty ugly pinstripes from one of the three garages (it had snowed so the car was filthy and I didn't see them until I ran it through the car wash at home).

I suspect it happened when the Rivian was adjusting from kneel mode to standard as the driver pulled it out (but I don't know for sure). To be safe we now turn off kneel mode when we're going to valet.

Bonus points if anyone has suggestions for treating/covering/hiding the pinstripes shown above :)

I'm surprised it didn't rip off the shark fin.

I have no choice but to valet in a couple of locations that I visit often and would welcome a valet mode similar what the other American EV company has on offer — specifically, need it to limit hp and speed, with a secondary desire to limit changes to the center screen. 835hp seems to be too much to resist for many valets out there (I’ll just leave it at that for now). C’mon RJ — please give us a Valet Mode. Thanks in advance.

Good no-rinse hand wash, followed by clay bar treatment. Finish with a DIY ceramic coating.
Or, trade it in on a gen 2 R1. ?

Valet mode should cut access to sport/launch: turn it into a 240d
