R1T delivery window is now April - May 2022

Pre Ordered: August 2019 R1T white/black, 20", Launch edition, Miami, FL

Honestly this is starting to get ridiculous, this is going to be the third delay each being 6 months, who knows if there wont be another one? service center in my area has been under lease since march, most plans/permits were denied in may, to date no updated plans/permits have been filed. I understand delays in manufacturing and ramping are expected, but to be so far behind in building out service centers really shows lack in planning/execution. In south FL the industry that really had no slowing down before and during the pandemic was the construction industry (i know i deal with it on a day to day basis). for a company that had plans of originally starting deliveries at the end of 2020 that means they are 2 years behind on service center buildouts, makes me wonder if they ever were planning or had intentions on delivering anything before end of 2021.

Yikes, I haven't gotten mine yet, April 2021 R1S order, but I expect a 2023 date, which, if confirmed, means I'm out. Wife won't wait that long, I've already strained her patience with our little car for too long. Hoping some folks drop out before I have to make the final cancellation at the end of Q1, otherwise it's an XC90 Recharge lease. Old platform but pretty much anything is an upgrade for us right now.

I have a July 2019 order date for the Adventure Package. I see I'm supposed to get delivery window notification by the end of the year.
I see many with notifications for the LE ordered after me.
My question is, do Adventure and Explore Packages have to wait until ALL LE are delivered, or will some non-LE packages be delivered concurrently at some point. Seems like a long wait for us non-LE if so.

Because the delivery window also takes into consideration location, I would not be shocked if there are Non-LE deliveries before all of the LE deliveries are done, but only to a few select locations where they already have robust service in place, like the Seattle area.

It will be interesting to see what delivery windows Adventure/Explore package orders get next month.

Looks like im gonna get my Ford Lightning before my Rivian... scored pretty low reservation number. I think if you reserve one of those now youre probably gonna be even further out than the Rivian... probably 2024ish. Insane!

I ordered our Tesla Model 3 at launch (2016) and was reservation holder 196K. Once they started delivering the vehicles, I was notified that my estimate would be between November 2018 to February 2019.

Got a call in June 2018 to see if I was ready to pickup the vehicle.

Not saying that the same will happen with Rivian, but I am hopeful that it will (Nov 21 R1S reservation). It seems that many early reservations were cancelled for Model 3.

I didn't make the LE reservation because I wanted to see what other EVs would be available at this point in time.
