LFP still available on 2026 model?

Does anyone know if Rivian will keep the LFP battery on the 2026? I know that EPA doc was released recently, but I wasn’t able to full digest its content yet. LMK if you know.

I feel the same way… I prefer the tech for all of its benefits. Thanks. I hope they keep it, would prefer the NACS too…

For me, longevity, charging curve and safety… along with avoiding the whole ‘kids in cobalt mines’ dialogue…

For me, environmental reasons (when I lived in Canada, I heard a lot about the damage from the Sudbury nickel smelter), as well as double the cycle life.

True… however, LFP has an even safer threshold relevant to thermal events.
